I’ve seen cookie jar gifts like these on Pinterest for a few years now and I really like the idea. Rather than baking cookies for someone, you just put the dry ingredients in a Mason Jar and gift it with a little card that includes directions for making the cookies. Read the whole post
A few weeks ago, I was inspired by Emma’s T-shirt Cushion blog post on Puddleside Musings. She turned a t-shirt with a cute sloth into a pillow and I really enjoyed the spunk.
I found an old shirt and set out to make my own. Unfortunately, I’m not into to measuring if I don’t have to and I don’t have a sewing machine so it would take me quite a while longer to make something like that. Read the whole post
I’ve had this couch for nearly a decade and the cushions are super saggy, as you can see in the photo on the left. The structure of the couch is pretty good though, so I wanted to try to find a way to salvage it. There’s no use in spending a few hundred dollars on a new couch when this one just needs some love, right?

My hair has been short for a while so I haven’t been able to get it into a pony tail. I’ve relied heavily on bobby pins to add flare. But bobby pins are so boring, right?
I wanted to spice them up a bit. Add more color or excitement to them and I’ve always been a fan of wire wrapping, so I combined the wire wrapped jewelry design that I’ve always loved with the bobby pins for a neat hair accessory. Read the whole post

For the first time in a long time, I had a girls day with friends and we made terrariums for Aarika’s birthday (HAPPY BIRTHDAY!). So, of course, I documented that process and made a tutorial for you.
You need a lot of supplies, but if you make more than one terrarium, they get used up quickly. Get a bunch of people together and have a movie/terrarium night or something. Otherwise, you might have supplies for years. Read the whole post
I don’t know about your weather, but it’s pretty cold and snowy here.The cold weather has been a roller coaster this year. One day is -10, the next is 40 degrees. I’m about over that junk.On a more positive note, the snow and ice is absolutely beautiful and I wanted to capture that in another mini painting, this time with a winter theme. The last two were summer and fall.
