Stolen painting: alert for illustrators and artists

Artists beware.
They say that Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. That may be true, but you can’t go around stealing other people’s artwork. Make sure you are using watermarks and remember to do reverse image searches to make sure that no one is stealing your work.

My old art blog

Thanks to a fellow blogger, I was notified this morning that some blogger at WordPress is publishing my painting as her own on her blog.

I checked this out and could not believe my eyes: not only had she created a copy of this painting, but had a nerve to attach some kind of her signature to it, as well!

I was preparing these paintings for a show, so I painted more on one sheet and later separated.
