I have a friend and coworker who (or is it whom?) I admire very much for his creativity. This year, for Halloween he made his own costume (as always) and it is pretty awesome! Check it out. He made ALL of it using supplies from Michael’s and Lowe’s. I’m very amused with the backpack

Exactly How Bored Are You?

Olga Kostina,a resident of  the Siberian taigahas, decided to decorate her home with 30,000 plastic bottle caps (yes, that number is correct). She Made this beautiful design over the course of several years.

The Siberian Taiga is an area known for its natural beauty, but also has a population density of only three people per square kilometre. Olga enjoys collecting the bottle caps as a hobby to pass time, and when she gets enough she starts to decorate. Using just a hammer and some nails, and inspiration from traditional macrame motifs, she creates the detailed patterns. Olga plans to continue until every wall of her home is covered in a colourful bottle cap mosaic.

That is pretty inventive Olga has my heart!

Ed Chew is quite inventive. Ed created the TetraBox lamp. The lamp is made of discarded drink packets. The design is achieved by unfolding the packets and refolding them into shapes and sectioning them off to form the desired shape. Wow… :-O
